Some days do not fit into a transfer. A round of meetings across three suburbs, a property inspection tour, a day of shopping and lunch, a client visiting from overseas who needs a car on call — these are not A-to-B journeys, and pricing them as one never works.
Private hire solves it. You book the vehicle and chauffeur for a block of time, and for that period the car is yours: waiting when you are inside, moving when you are ready, going wherever you decide as the day unfolds.
How Private Hire Works
You tell us when to start, roughly how long you need and where to collect you. Everything after that is decided on the day.
- The vehicle stays with you. Your chauffeur waits nearby between stops rather than dropping you and leaving.
- The itinerary is not fixed. Add a stop, change the order, extend the lunch — simply tell your chauffeur.
- Belongings stay in the car. Shopping, samples, luggage and coats stay where you left them all day.
- One fixed rate. Waiting time, fuel and tolls are included, so a slow afternoon does not become an unexpected charge.
- Extend on the day. If the day runs longer than planned, additional hours are charged at the same agreed rate, subject to availability.
Who Private Hire Suits
Business and corporate
Multi-stop meeting days, client roadshows, site visits and executive travel where the schedule is provisional and the car needs to keep up with it.
Visitors and diplomatic guests
A dedicated car and chauffeur for the duration of a visit, with the same driver each day — discreet, consistent and familiar with the itinerary.
Property and relocation
Inspection runs across multiple suburbs in a single afternoon, with someone who knows the roads and can hold the schedule together.
Shopping, dining and personal days
A day out without parking, without carrying bags between stops, and without anyone having to stay sober by default.
Medical and assisted travel
Appointments where waiting time is unpredictable and being collected promptly afterwards matters. Chauffeurs assist to and from the door.

One rate per vehicle, the same in every city we serve. No quote to wait for — the price is published here and you can book it online.
- Sedan / SUV — up to 3 passengers. A$90 + GST = A$99 an hour.
- MPV — up to 6 passengers. A$150 + GST = A$165 an hour.
- Mercedes Sprinter or similar — up to 11 passengers. A$200 + GST = A$220 an hour.
The bold figure is what you pay. GST is already inside it, as it is everywhere else on this site.
Minimums
- Within the city — 3 hours minimum, then extendable by the hour.
- Tours and regional days — 4 hours minimum, because the car is committed for the whole run.
- Longer than 12 hours — call us on +61 405 347 776 and we will quote a day rate.
What the rate covers
- Included — the vehicle, your chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking, government charges, GST, and all waiting time inside the booked period.
- Not included — attraction or event admissions.
- Multi-day bookings — discounted rates apply for consecutive days with the same vehicle and chauffeur. Call us and we will put it in writing.
In New South Wales the Point to Point Transport levy is inside the quoted figure rather than added afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum booking for private hire?
Four hours. Beyond that, time is added in one-hour increments at the same agreed rate.
Is waiting time charged separately?
No. Waiting time is included within your booked hours. That is the point of private hire: the car stays with you and the rate does not change while you are inside.
Can I extend the booking on the day?
Usually yes, subject to the chauffeur's availability afterwards. Additional hours are charged at the same rate you agreed. Letting us know as early as possible helps us protect the extension.
Can we travel outside the city?
Yes. Regional day trips run on the same published hourly rate with a 4 hour minimum. Interstate travel is quoted individually based on distance and duration.
Do you provide the same chauffeur for multi-day bookings?
Wherever possible, yes. Continuity matters on longer engagements, and most clients prefer a driver who already knows the routine.
