This policy explains how Prima Chauffeur Services collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, make a booking, or travel with us.

Prima Chauffeur Services is a registered business name of Prima Maintenance Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 19 614 615 717, ACN 614 615 717), a company incorporated in Australia and based in Sydney, New South Wales. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Where the Act does not strictly apply to a business of our size, we apply these standards as a matter of policy because we think they are the right ones.
This policy covers our website, our booking and quotation services, our travel agent portal, and the chauffeur and private transportation services we provide.
If you contact us by email, telephone, website form, SMS or WhatsApp, we retain what you send us so we can respond and manage your booking.
Where it is reasonably practical, we collect personal information directly from you. We may collect it:
If you give us personal information about another passenger, please make sure you are authorised to do so and, where appropriate, that they know their details have been given to us.
Addresses are unavoidably personal, so we want to be precise about what happens to them rather than make a general promise we cannot keep.
When you request an estimate through our website's price checker, we remove the street number from the pickup and drop-off addresses before the route is recorded in our website analytics. For example, “12 Smith Street, Bondi NSW” is recorded as “Bondi NSW”.
This lets us understand which routes people are pricing without keeping a log of precise street addresses for enquiries that never become bookings.
We would rather tell you this plainly than imply a protection that does not exist.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use it for purposes unrelated to providing, managing or improving our services, except where the law requires or permits it.
Where the law allows, we may use your contact details to send you information about our services, seasonal offers or relevant business updates.
We will never make receiving marketing a condition of providing a service to you.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses them for:
Our website currently loads its analytics and advertising cookies when you arrive, rather than asking first. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and you can contact us to object to our use of them. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.
Our website uses third-party services that collect information about how it is used. We want to name them individually rather than hide them behind a general reference to “analytics”.
We use Microsoft Clarity, which does more than count visits: it records your session. That means it captures mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the pages you move through, and can replay that as a video of your visit. We use it to find broken layouts, confusing steps and errors.
Clarity is configured to mask the contents of form fields, so what you type into booking fields is not intended to appear in a recording. Microsoft processes and retains this information under its own privacy terms.
Our translation widget is provided by Google. If you translate a page, its content passes through Google's translation service.
We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which advertisements lead to enquiries. These services use cookies and may associate your visit with Google's own records.
Our address fields and maps are provided by Google Maps Platform. Address text you enter is sent to Google to return suggestions.
Online card payments are handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor.
Your card number is entered on Stripe's own secure payment page, not on ours. We never see, receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited details such as the amount and the last four digits.
Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy and security standards, and your use of it is also subject to Stripe's terms.
We operate a portal for travel agents and agency partners. It involves two kinds of information.
When an agency applies for an account we collect business contact details, the agency name, country and state, and business identifiers such as an ABN. Account holders have login credentials.
Agents can store their own clients' names, phone numbers, email addresses and booking notes in the portal to make repeat bookings easier.
Where an agent enters information about a client, that agent is responsible for having the authority to do so and for telling their client how their information is handled. We use that information only to arrange and deliver the bookings the agent makes with us — never for our own unrelated marketing.
We disclose personal information only where it is reasonably necessary, and only the information actually needed. This may include:
We do not provide your information to travel agents or partners for their own unrelated marketing or commercial purposes.
Some of the information we hold is stored or processed outside Australia. This happens in two different ways.
Running the website and the booking system involves services based overseas. The recipients are likely to be located in:
If your booking is arranged through a travel agent located overseas, or is fulfilled by a partner operator in another country, we provide the minimum information needed to arrange or deliver that service — typically passenger name, contact details, pickup and drop-off details, date and time, flight or cruise details, passenger numbers and any special requirements.
We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers, but you should know that information held overseas may be subject to the laws of those countries.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These include:
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to anyone whose information we hold, we will act under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it. In practice:
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
In limited circumstances we may refuse access or correction where the law permits it. If we do, we will explain why in writing.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us first — we would rather hear about it and fix it.
Email us at the address in section 21, marking your message “Privacy Complaint”. We will acknowledge it, investigate, and respond within 30 days.
You can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
We welcome visitors from the UK and Europe. If you are in the UK or the EEA, the UK GDPR or EU GDPR may apply to how we handle your information, and you have the rights set out below.
Because we operate from Australia, using our services means your information will be transferred to and stored in Australia and in the countries listed in section 12. To exercise any of these rights, email us using the details in section 21.
Our services are booked by adults, and many of those bookings involve children travelling with their family.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our business, our technology, or our legal obligations.
The current version is always published on this page with the date of the most recent update shown at the top. If we make a change that significantly affects how we handle your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention rather than quietly amending the page.
For any question about this policy, to request access to or correction of your personal information, or to make a privacy complaint, please contact us.
